Archie!

This is a picture of Natalie and Karsten with our tortoises Archie and Homer. They are the same age, but Archie is a lot bigger. Apparently Archie has a little crush on Natalie, because about 30 seconds after this picture was taken, we discovered that Archie is in fact a male! One of the scariest things I have ever seen! Natalie almost threw up. The jury is still out on Homer, but I think he is a boy too.

This must be the Twilight Zone

because I sat down to watch SNL and found WWE wrestling on that channel. It is the right time, right channel, wrong show. WAY wrong show. Dumb.

So I was trying to do some network configuring and somehow ended up doing a google search for Bogle when I came across a breed of dog known as a bogle. It is a cross between a boxer and a beagle, hence the name "bo-gle". Megan, all you need is someone with a boxer and we can start our own family line of Royal Bogle's. Unless, you got your dog fixed. In that case you just threw a wrench into my next "get rich quick" scheme.

So I was outside mowing the lawn this morning and Archie came out of the shrubs. I was amazed at how big he has gotten. He is probably over 12 inches long now, but just looks huge. I carried him over to the window to show Natalie and Brecken, so then Brecken wanted to come outside and play with him.

"Dad, I want to play with Archie!"

"You do? what do you want to play with him?"

"I want him to play tag!"

"I don't think Archie is very good at tag. He's kind of slow."

"But I want him to tag us slow."

Just a funny story. Thought you would all enjoy.

So after making huge comments on other people's blogs and getting dirty looks for it (you think I don't know, but I do), and after some peer pressure, I gave in and decided to do my own blog (because some members of the family are just too mature for myspace, even though it is the exact same thing).

Anyway, here I am. I am trying to find a new career right now. So for my first blog, I am just going to solicit ideas. And saying "You can do anything" doesn't count.
